PopFree SE 1.4 (Standard Edition) is now available.

Although PopFree was written to be RFC compliant (don't worry if you don't know what this means) either it may not be or the servers it connects to may not be. It has currently been tested with the POP3 mail servers run by:

• demon.net
• ntlworld.com
• westhost.com
• orange.net

The current version should work with all other standard POP3 mail servers.

Please note that although every care was taken during the development of PopFree I give no guarantee of its robustness or behaviour. I have found that it works exceptionally well for me and have never had the situation (ever) where mail was accidentally deleted but it's a big wide world out there where anything can happen.
